Having released their debut single ‘Heath’ back in 2021 as part of a Slow Dance Recordings compilation, 5-piece noise-rock band Butch Kassidy have spent the last few years honing their craft and building a huge cult following off the back of their incendiary live shows. The result is ANNA, a 66-minute wall of sound designed to listen to in its entirety - no shuffle, no skipping, no respite. The album was forged through intense, hours-long jam sessions in a shed painted bright green: “We used to lock ourselves away for hours and hours and just jam until we liked something. This obsessive repetitiveness really shaped the music that we wrote from then onwards.
